Amanda Bobby Brundage

Amanda Bobby Brundage is an American professional mixed martial artist who competed in the Strawweight division of the Invicta Fighting Championships (Invicta FC) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her personal MMA record is 4-5-0 (W-L-D).

Amanda Bobby Brundage was born on October 22, 1991, in Bath, Michigan, United States. She is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), but she is also a professional boxer with a personal record of 2-1-0 (W-L-D).

Amanda Bobby Brundage MMA career

Amanda Bobby Brundage started fighting as an amateur at the Capital City Cage Fighting Championships in 2010. She registered 8 wins, all of them by KO or submission, before turning professional.

MMA debut

Amanda Bobby Brundage made her professional MMA debut with the King of the Cage promotion on February 15 2014. She defeated Brittany Dugas by armbar submission in the second round.

Invicta FC career

Amanda Bobby Brundage debuted at Invicta FC 14 versus Aspen Ladd on September 12, 2015. She lost the fight by armbar submission in the second round.

UFC career

In April 2016, it was announced that Amanda Bobby Brundage would be a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Cláudia. She defeated Mellony Geugjes in the opening qualifying round to gain entry into the house. At The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Cláudia finale, she lost to Tatiana Suarez in the women’s strawweight final

However, she signed with the UFC and took part at the UFC Fight Night 99 on November 19, 2016. She won the fight versus Anna Elmose by unanimous decision.

On March 4, 2017, Amanda Bobby Brundage lost her fight versus Cynthia Calvillo at the UFC 209 by reak-naked choke submission.

On December 2, 2017, she fought versus Angela Magana at the UFC 218 and won by TKO in the second round.

In 2018, Amanda Bobby Brundage registered two losses at the UFC – by Mackenzie Dern at the UFC 224 (via rear-naked choke submissions) and by Ashley Yoder at the UFC Fight Night 139 (via split decision). Her contract with the UFC had expired and the federation opted not to renew it.

Other fights

After leaving the UFC, Amanda Bobby Brundage was the main event at the Lights Out Championship 5, winning her fight versus Jamie Milanowski by TKO in the first round.
