Melissa Karagianis made her professional MMA debut on November 21, 2015, at the CUFF 9 – Canadian Invasion. She fought Andy Nguyen, winning the fight via split decision.
On September 24, 2016, she faced Tushara Veerella at the KOTC – National Dispute, recording her second MMA victory after a unanimous decision.
On December 9, 2016, she faced Jayme Hinshaw at the KOTC – Declaring War, losing via rear-naked choke submission in the second round.
On July 1, 2017, Melissa Karagianis recorded her second professional MMA loss at the KOTC – Regulator, losing to Cynthia Arceo via TKO in the second round.
On August 12, 2017, she achieved her third victory in professional MMA, defeating Andy Nguyen at the KOTC – Counterstrike via unanimous decision.
