Joanna Jedrzejczyk is a Polish professional MMA fighter and former Muay Thai kickboxer. She currently competes in the women’s Flyweight and women’s Strawweight divisions for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Joanna Jedrzejczyk is a former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion and No 2 in the UFC women’s strawweight rankings, as well as No 5 in UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk made her professional MMA debut on May 19, 2012, at SFT – MMA Fight Night Diva SPA. She fought versus Sylwia Juskiewicz and won by unanimous decision.
UFC career
Joanna Jedrzejczyk officially signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in July 2014. She entered the championship unbeaten (6 wins) and debuted on July 26, 2014, at UFC on Fox 12 – Lawler vs. Brown, winning versus Juliana Lima by unanimous decision.
Her successful debut was followed by amazing winning series of 7 wins:
On December 13, 2014, Joanna Jedrzejczyk won versus Claudia Gadelha at UFC on Fox 13 – Dos Santos vs. Miocic by a split decision.
On March 14, 2015, she defeated Carla Esparza at UFC 185 – Pettis vs. dos Anjos by KO (Punches) in the second round. Thus, she won the UFC Women’s Strawweight title and became the first UFC title-holder from Poland and first female European UFC champion.
On June 20, 2015, Joanna Jedrzejczyk won versus Jessica Penne at UFC Fight Night 69 – Jedrzejczyk vs. Penne, by TKO (Punches and Knee) in the third round.
